Resonance is an immersive audio-visual project that explores the intersection of sound, space, and cultural identity through the acoustics of five religious institutions in Singapore. By capturing and analyzing the unique sonic environments of these sacred spaces, the project translates their sounds into dynamic visual expressions. A key component of this exploration is an audio visualizer that transforms sound waves into motion-based visuals using a laser, balloon, and mirror. The accordian looks into the different visual outcomes generated by this artifact, documenting them to highlight patterns, variations, and the relationship between sound and form.
