This project involved illustrating a letterform and developing a short narrative around it. I chose the letter “R” and built the concept around a raccoon, using the form of the letter to guide the composition.

The illustration depicts a raccoon digging through garbage under midnight street lamps, capturing a quiet, nocturnal moment. The scene draws on themes of urban life and survival, using lighting and environment to create a sense of atmosphere and mood while emphasising the character’s behaviour and setting.
