3D Type (Letter K)

This project was a collaborative type exploration for NTU Hive, where our class worked together to design a complete typeface. Focusing on the architectural nuances of the Hive, I developed the uppercase letter “K,” experimenting with its glyph variations and form.

The process began with analogue explorations using stamps and markers to generate initial shapes and textures. These were then translated into 3D typeforms, allowing the letterform to capture the depth, structure, and material quality inspired by the Hive’s distinctive architecture.
